I’ve been playing with this beautiful South African lady for 20 years now. We are also married and have two kids, a girl and a boy. We live together in Antwerp, Belgium and are trying hard to make a decent and honest living for ourselves and our two babies, with making the music we love.

In March 2024 we released the 1st volume of her Wrapped In Rhythm-project, with our own music based on and dedicated to the poetry of South African writer Lebo Mashile, with myself on piano, Clemens van der Feen on bass and Dré Pallemaerts on drums – and Tim Finoulst on lapsteel/guitar and Bert Joris on trumpet as special guests. The album is produced by Larry Klein.
In June 2025 the 2nd volume will be released, in coöperation with Metropole Orkest, and with arrangements by Bert Joris.
